SEA++ – simulation of electro-hydraulic drives
A simulation program was created for a customer for analysing the dynamic behaviour of cylinder drives controlled via proportional valves.
Drives can be controlled or moved in the closed-loop control circuit. Numerous parameters are able to represent all major drive characteristics such as valve dynamics, valve characteristics, cylinder geometry, friction, leakage, line dimensions and control behaviour. As control signals, target value curves and counterforce curves are specified flexibly, any desired applications can be modelled. In addition to the dynamic simulation, SEA++ provides functions for examining the stationary drive behaviour (speed-force characteristics, natural frequency and buckling resistance calculation).
SEA++ is suitable for use in development, project planning and training in connection with servo and proportional technology.
